Ethical rules are standards of honesty and integrity that serve as the foundation for ethically responsible individual and communal interactions. These rules establish expectations for each employee in terms of what to pay attention to and how to do business, as well as how to engage with customers and suppliers.
Within its sphere of influence, TESAN embraces and supports internationally valid basic principles on human rights, labor standards, and anti-corruption.
In this regard, it is critical that all TESAN employees adhere to the ethical values outlined below. When an employee observes or is exposed to activities that are inconsistent with ethical values, the employee should notify his or her senior manager and Human Resources Manager.
BEHAVIORAL PRINCIPLES THAT ARE THE BASIS OF ETHICAL VALUES
While performing their obligations and responsibilities, all employees must adopt the P HR – 06 Ethical and Moral Values Procedure, taking into consideration the following issues:
1. COMPANY RESOURCES AND TIME USE
Employees are responsible for ensuring that all company resources are used in line with their intended purposes and procedures, as well as for ensuring that these resources are protected. Each employee is obliged to inform their manager if any negligence, damage, or negative behavior is noticed in the usage of company resources.
2. RELATIONSHIPS
Employees, customers, subcontractors, supplier companies, and other companies and individuals with whom the company has commercial interactions cannot engage in private business relationships, and employees cannot borrow money/goods from them for personal use. Employees cannot lend money/goods to customers, subcontractors, supplier companies, employees, and other companies and individuals with whom the company has commercial interactions.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE EMPLOYEES TO THE COMPANY
Company employees cannot demand presents from customers, subcontractors, suppliers and other companies and individuals with whom the company has commercial interactions.
Personal aid or donations cannot be accepted from any individual or organization that has a business relationship with the company.
